July 19, 2016 (Elk Grove Village, IL) - On July X, MPS Hardware in Elk Grove, Ill. will launch their newest prototype program by offering free nylon strap prototypes to anyone with an active Kickstarter campaign. These fully customizable straps are designed to enhance any project needing nylon straps.

Normally a $25 value, MPS Hardware is allowing any active Kickstarter campaign the opportunity to acquire one for free. Being made in Elk Grove, prototypes can be built and distributed same-day if ordered before 1:00 p.m. CST. They are hoping to begin the use of 3D printing by the end of 2016.

These custom nylon straps are made of high quality nylon and come in a wide array of styles, colors, widths and webbings. Any active kickstarter campaign can utilize the use of custom nylon straps to create an attention-grabbing product.

According to Doug Polomsky, president of MPS Hardware (, “We are excited to offer this new prototype product to active Kickstarter campaigns. We hope to build a relationship with these entrepreneurs and developers and we’re excited to see where they go with our product. With the use of our custom nylon straps, we know these campaigns have the opportunity to make their product stand out from the crowd.”

Steve Upton from Schmit Prototypes said, " is far easier to sell to potential customers when they have a prototype to hold and manipulate at a marketing presentation. Without a prototype, it's only a concept. It can be difficult to get a potential client to commit to the purchase of a concept. With a prototype in hand, the concept instantly becomes real and it is far easier to sign a purchase order."
